Dang.. Da Nang you surprised me!

Happy smiles, an abundance of energy in their daily lives. Enthusiasm in all that the Vietnamese people do. Vietnam exudes the joy that locals bring into their daily activities.

If you were just dropped off into Vietnam, you would be very surprised to learn it is a socialist country.

The freedom people enjoy in Vietnam feels freer than the US in a lot of respects.

Families out in the evening enjoying the beachside restaurants.  Children playing tag, while the adults have adult beverages along the boardwalk.

The simplicity of owning a scooter, having healthcare, working as a driver, seamstress, tourist guide, etc.

It’s no wonder there is always a ready smile waiting. Fresh fruits and vegetables are incorporated into the most delicious of dishes, which consequently leads to their healthy skin and leaner appearances.

We watched in awe as entire families, even grandparents, enjoyed the early morning hours on the beach prior to heading in to work.

The low cost of food and services alone will make you want to go. $12 massages.

Our bill for my haircut, a regular pedicure and a gel pedicure came out to $25 total! (You can see why the low prices entice people to become expats.)
